16歳の夏に、ロードバイクで名古屋から京都に旅をしたのが、私と自転車のかかわりの始まりでした。
その後、長い時を経て、再び自転車と出会い、自転車を通じて、五感で味わえる四季の変化、気温の変化、景色の変化は人生の喜びでもありました。都会の喧騒から離れ、自転車と自然との対話は、絶えず感動を与えてくれます。この感動を、自分だけでなく、出来る限り多くの方と分かち合いたいとの思いから、Nicole Eurocycleを設立する運びとなりました。
自転車を通じて、さまざまな新しい感動、身体面のみならず、精神面でも健康で充実したライフスタイルをご提案させていただきたいと思っております。

The start of my bicycle life dates back to the summer of my first year in high school when I traveled from Nagoya to Kyoto on my first road bike. After long absence, I came cross the bicycle again.
Through the engagement with the bicycle, I have enjoyed beautiful landscapes throughout the change of the four seasons with their different temperatures and scents with my own five senses.
These experiences give me a great sense of joy of life. The dialogue with nature through a bicycle ride apart from the hectic city life vitalizes one self and its excitement is available at any time.
In order to share this excitement with many more people I came to set up Nicole EuroCycle.
We are looking forward to providing a new life style through bicycles that present stimulations and excitement providing physical aspects but also mental health.
It is my great honor to create this opportunity to you for sharing this great experience through the bicycle life and to discover a new way of sensing the joy of life.

In my earlier years in Japan, I raced professionally in motor racing for a total of eight years.
I continue to find immense pleasure in challenging myself and riding a road bike is an excellent way to accomplish this, while enjoying nature and the environment.
The Japanese automotive market is very advanced, but together with my two partners, Mr. Sakuma and Mr. Yumoto, we recognised there exists a potential to further develop the top end bicycle market.
This exciting task we would like to accomplish together and we hope to win many new bicycle friends while pursuing our common dream.

気がつけば、私と自転車との付き合いは、15年にもなります。14歳の誕生日に両親からプレゼントされたマウンテンバイクが、僕の人生を変えたと言っても過言ではありません。
その2ヶ月後に、初参加のレースで優勝してから、プロアスリートとしての人生がスタートしました。その後、果たして幾つの国で、幾つのレースを戦ってきたのか数えきれない程です。
欧米諸国では、自転車レースが盛り上がっているだけでなく、
「サイクリング」が人々の健康的なライフスタイルの象徴として定着しています。

Coming to think about it, my bicycle relationship lasts already 15 years. It is safe to say that the mountain bike that my parents presented me on my 14th birthday has changed my life.
Only 2 months after this birthday I could win my first-ever bike race and with this victory my life as professional athlete started. After this day I was competing many times in many different countries. Not only are bicycle races very much celebrated in Europe and the USA, cycling stands in general for a healthy lifestyle and fun activity.
Feeling the wind on your face while moving your body on a refreshing bicycle tour truly is a fantastic way to refresh your body and soul. We are looking forward to a growing cycling community here in Japan and we would be happy to share this eco-friendly sport with its benefits for a happy and healthy life with many more people.
